Join Omaha Public Library in the garden for stories that celebrate plants, insects, gardens and more, and discover the joys of nature, movement, music, and literature. There's NOTHING to be scared of . . . or is there? Take a stroll through the arboretum and go on an adventure with the fearless Spider and her friends. Following along with the story “Nothing Scares Spider” by S. Marendaz, your family will encounter fearsome fish, hungry birds, and hairy beasts and can take part in some fun activities. StoryWalk® combines the love of reading with healthy, fun activities that fit the theme of the story to exercise your brain and body. Included with paid admission or with garden membership.

It's time for some fun in the garden - as you and your family make your own clock. We will provide a wooden back that can be decorated with a hand-painted tree. Wooden numbers will mark our clocks and hands and motors will complete the timepiece. Pre-registration is required. $25, $15 for members.
